Family photography to help you tell your family story

This is a great question! I photograph families and there are so many different definitions of that term. A woman and her doggo best friend: family. Two men who are devoted to each other: family. A person and their bestie: yeah, that's family. A household of four roommates: definitely family. A single-mom and her three children: 100% complete family. And so on.

The crux of what I'm trying to say is that a family is just a group of close relationships with love as a central component. And that is what I photograph; that is family photography.

I really like the idea of being mobile with my photography. I want to be able to capture what you need in almost any place, whether that be your home, your office, the park, or some local parking lot. I want to photograph you where you want to be. I can always convert my living room into a make-shift studio or rent a space if needed for a specific project with those types of needs.

Pricing is a pretty complicated subject as it really depends on what you need from the photography session. In general, options for family photography sessions start at $400 and the average client spends around $850-$1100.

Though I feel these are things I could do creatively, my focus is much more on "traditional" and "lifestyle" portraiture. That's what I'm really good at and where I aim my photographic energies.

Events are very grand and important; the photographer you choose to capture your wedding, 50th birthday, or Quinceañera should really be focused on making that their expertise. And boudoir photography is much the same; with increased vulnerability, care, and equipment/space required. Again, I would encourage you to find a specialist to ensure your photoshoot results are perfect.
